Goodluck, Sophomores. :)

Tuesday, the activity for the Feast Day of St. Benedict was announced. It will be held tomorrow, Saturday (even though the Feast Day should be on July 11, but it’s Sunday). There will be an on-the-spot poster making contest, which is done yesterday (I think the winner will be announced tomorrow), singing contest (solo and duet), and dance contest (students and teachers). I even thought the Mr. and Ms. Benedictine will be held for the Feast Day for the continuation of the activity held last year, but it did not happen that way. The SSG 2010-2011 and the administration planned another thing. It’s okay for me, though. As long as the students, as well as the teachers, will enjoy the activity, it’s okay not only for me, but also for the other people.

When it was announced, I am willing to join to any contest. One of my best friends want me and him to join in the singing contest - duet. I was almost convinced, but I was shocked when I was chosen for the dance competition. I thought there will be an audition, but the other thing happened. We were called and our PE teacher said that we will be the one to represent the second year for the dance competition. I even wonder until now why I am chosen. I think I am not so good in dancing.

Our practice started at Wednesday. I did not feel great because I really feel OP from the other dancers. They are really close to each other, and sometimes, I prefer to shut up and not talk about anything. Same to Thursday and this day, but I just tried to enjoy and do my best during the practice. It feels great to finish the steps for three days.

One of my best friends (not the one who invited me for the duet) will be the soloist of our year level. I know she can do it, she really has a very good voice. Also, my friend, one of my best friends, and my classmate are contestants of on-the-spot poster making contest. Wish them all luck, wish us all luck. :)
